I had a horrible clunk in the back of my Z when I got on the gas and let off. I found that my stock diff bushing were completely worn out and the nose of the diff could be pushed up a 1/8 to a 1/4 inch. So today I replaced those with SPL solid diff bushings. The diff is in there nice and solid now, but I still have a similar problem just with a different sound. The diff bushings increased driveline noise in the cabin, but it doesnt bother me since my Z is slowly making its way towards a track car. So now the question is, what next? Is it the CV axles or the diff? Its not the driveshaft center joint, because I have a 1 piece from IPP. I only have 103k on the odometer. How do I single out the problem from here?
